Actor Dhananjaya fondly recalls his time working as a techie in Mangaluru at a prominent IT firm in Kottara for six months. This experience allowed him to delve into the vibrant art and culture of the coastal region. Recently invited to the Dasara festivities in Kudla, he eagerly accepted the offer. Dhananjaya reminisces about hearing about the Navratri celebrations and feeling nostalgic upon revisiting the area. Despite only grasping a bit of Tulu during his stay, he enjoyed watching Tulu dramas and Yakshagana performances, realizing that art transcends language and values the connection it fosters. He commends the coastal region for preserving its traditional art forms, emphasizing the importance of language, art, and culture in defining a place's beauty. Dhananjaya considers himself fortunate to witness the tiger dance and even perform Huli Vesha on stage. Although not a skilled dancer, he gained insight into the art form through his role in the film "Kotee." He firmly believes that art and culture are integral to human existence and advocates for their preservation at all costs.
